Breastfeeding and H1N1
October 28, 2009
Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways you can protect your children from the swine flu. They will continuously be receiving support and immunity from your amazing breast milk. The second their saliva touches your nipple they send a message to your body about the specific antibody support they need. This will vary according to what they have encountered in a day. The longer you breastfed the more protection you are able to offer your children. Another great reason to extend breastfeeding – even if it is only once or twice a day, it has a role to play in good health.
